EU Accessibility Act Audit 

The European Accessibility Act (EAA) will take effect on June 28, 2025. It requires businesses and public bodies in the EU to make their products and services accessible to people with disabilities.

Here is a free template for you to audit your product, recommendation below how to use it. Note: the document is a Google Sheet, Google account needed.

Recommendation on How to Use

  1. Download: Copy the excel from the Google Sheet

  2. Review Requirements: Review together with your team to see what is applicable to your product and what is not applicable

  3. Create Status Quo: Run a technical review by going one by one in the criteria to understand what is currently already covered by the app and what is missing

  4. Prioritise: Given a criteria is missing from your product, give it a priority as working on everything at once is not possible and prioritise the work
